What is a flexitank?

A flexitank is a soft, light, polyethylene bladder with a volume of 14,000 to 24,000 litres for the transportation of bulk non-hazardous liquid cargoes within a standard 20-foot ISO dry-box container. It is generally used once and discarded or recycled. This makes flexitanks a cost-effective transportation solution for non-hazardous liquids, including certain chemicals, latex, food oils and juices.
